The product appears far more appealing in the photos! The greenery is crammed into the jar and not in great condition. I intend to either replace it or add more greenery. The lights are sparse and I’ll replace them once the battery runs out. It feels a bit overpriced.

I was searching for a decorative piece to illuminate my window without using a lamp and stumbled upon this charming vintage jar. It originally came with a set of battery-operated fairy lights, but I noticed many reviewers mentioned that the batteries didn’t last long. With daylight savings time in effect, I realized I didn’t need the lights to stay on for six hours, and I preferred corded lights that I could set on a timer. So, I purchased a set of corded fairy lights and some drill bits for glass from Amazon along with the jar. I drilled a small hole in the side of the jar and carefully fed the lights through. The clear cord is nearly invisible, enhancing the aesthetic. The jar also included some greenery, which I added, and the final result is exactly what I envisioned. It looks stunning in my window, providing the perfect ambiance. Plus, I can easily remove the jar from the holder, which cleverly conceals the hole when I put it back. This piece will be great for seasonal decorating, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
