They’re decent, but nothing extraordinary. Installation is straightforward; just be mindful of the width you need for your space. I have a relatively small room, and two rolls weren’t sufficient. The brightness is impressive, effectively illuminating the area as intended. They’re quite affordable, so they won’t break the bank. In terms of appearance, they look similar to other LED lights, just brighter. Connecting them is simple, and they function reasonably well. A major advantage is the app control, which makes usage convenient.

This is my second set of DayBetter lights. My first set worked well for about a week before the blue lights stopped functioning, leading to incorrect color displays involving blue. I had no bends in the lights, and after making a cut and splicing some sections, I tested the un-spliced end to ensure the issue wasn’t due to my modifications, and the blue still didn’t work, confirming it wasn’t user error. DayBetter quickly sent me a replacement, which I appreciated. I’ll see how these perform.
The remote is lacking, but the app is excellent, and I highly recommend using it with these lights. The brightness is satisfactory, and the adhesion is good as long as the surface is flat and free of bends. Overall, I would rate this a 4 out of 5.

After testing and returning two other sets, I’m thrilled with this one. It was a breeze to set up, and the variety of colors and light display patterns is fantastic. The adhesive holds well, and I couldn’t be happier.
The only downside is the remote; it requires a direct line of sight to function properly. So if your system is mounted on a 3/4 wall like mine, you need to stand up and get close for it to work.
On the bright side, the phone app performs excellently and offers even more options. I highly recommend this set over any others available – it’s definitely the one to choose!

I purchased these lights for my granddaughter, and installation was straightforward. However, I encountered some problems with the adhesive not sticking to the wall as promised. I ended up getting clear stick-on clips from the Dollar Tree, which helped secure the lights. My granddaughter loves the vibrant colors and finds the remote control easy to use.
Update July (4 months later): Unfortunately, the lights still don’t adhere well to the wall, even with the added hooks, and over two-thirds of them have stopped working. I won’t be buying these again. It’s very disappointing for my granddaughter.

The magentas are vibrantly rich, and I adore the variety of oranges and champagne tones—so beautiful. While I usually prefer a softer diffused look, this product works well. Just place it a bit away from the wall for that effect if that’s your style. The adhesive is excellent, especially on textured or concrete walls. I have no complaints!
